When water is connected and water filter cartridge is in the housing, the water leaks out (really, it gushes out) under the filter housing. If I take out the filter cartridge, it does not leak. Any idea what the problem is? This is a Kitchen Aid Superba fridge, probably about 2 years old. I cannot find a model number sticker on it.

I cannot find the model number. The sticker appears to be missing. I have used your model number locator and also the guidelines on the KitchenAid site. It looks identical to the [COLOR=#22229c]KSCS22QFWH01[/COLOR], except that that model doesn’t seem to have the circular hole for the filter at the bottom (by the toe-kick).
