My fridge (KSSC42QKS01) has never been perfect. It came with the house and it’s a tall counter depth model that would cost an arm and a leg to replace. the fridge side is too cold. My fridge is too cold (problem #1) and I think this causes problem #2 - too much condensation/ice on the freezer coils which I have to manually remove occasionally. My guess is that I need a new baffle and the current one stays open.
Problem #3 just started recently. There’s a small amount of water leaking near the rear of the ice maker. Some of this water leaked down to the fan in the freezer and made the fan noisier. Same solution of manually removing built up ice with a hair dryer. Is most likely cause the water inlet valve?
I also saw mention of the ice maker itself or a water filter causing a problem.
Thanks,
Tom
I’m a dope. I decided to take another look at the baffle. The last time I took it apart,I installed it backwards. This may take care of my fridge being too cold.
You clean your fridge properly in a week one time. And daily one hour you can off your fridge for your compressor.
Sentance struckture sence make not. Brain now hurt.
