We had a repair man look at this and he said we needed part no.w10084141. that was installed and goes into the wash cycle doesn’t drain and then goes into the wash cycle again and stays on wash cycle. It will drain only when the cancel button is pressed. :rolleyes:
I think your model number kud1021rbli is incorrect.
I think it is KUDI02IRBL1.
Just so I can rant I cannot understand why some idiot at Kitchen-aide decided to use 1, I and L in model numbers seems like a deliberate attempt to confuse people.

If it has dual door switches then you will see that one of them is in the motor and heater circuit perhaps this switch is not closing or is shot.
