KitchenAid dishwasher won't start

Dishwasher won’t start. When I press “cancel” and any other button the lights over the “normal” and “cancel” buttons start to flash. The only way to stop them is to recycle power. I have already changed the electronic control board, Is the control panel next? Does the button the light is flashing over have any significance?

Hi,

Remove the access panel below the door and look for the tech sheet.
Read it, run diagnostic and see what you find.

Blinking lights indicate bad control panel.
For the correct part number post the color of the dishwasher.

Thanks for the input. I don’t see a tech sheet under the unit, now mouse droppings is a different story. Is there anyway of getting a copy of the sheet?

The unit is black.
