My Kitchen Aid Dishwasher has not been running for several days now. I opened up the front door and went to the computer and disconnected and reconnected it and it did not reset. I repeated the disconnect and reconnect process and got it working again. Now when the cycle ends, I open the dishwasher and the “Heavy Wash” cycle light was half lit. I attempted to start the dishwasher again and had to do the reset again at the computer. This time the 1 Hour Wash Cycle light was fully lit. I had to do the reset sequence several more times to get it too run. I think the computer is going bad but I am not sure. I can get it working but it is a pain to have to do the resets over and over again. Thoughts?
Yes it sounds like the computer control is going.
PS: removing power from the unit for a few minutes should also reset the computer
