Kitchenaid dishwasher not completing cycle, not draining

What happens & when: Dishwasher runs a cycle then near the end, around the drain cycle, it stops and beeps. then i get 9 flashing lights, pause(beep), 1 flashing light, pause(beep) and repeats. If i open door hit the Cancel/Drain button twice then close door it will then drain. I have had the dishwasher for over 5 years,m this problem just started recently.

If the unit will drain when you push cancel drain but will not during the cycle then this will be an issue with the control board.

I ordered, received and installed this part. Still did not solve my problem. The dishwasher seems to run its cycle, but, when it gets to the draining part at the end. I get a warning signal followed by 9 flashes, the pause, then 1 flash and pause. Any other suggestions? drain pump maybe?

It would be recommended to put the unit through a cycle and test to see if the drain pump is receiving voltage when it calls to drain. If it does then yes the drain pump would be the likely issue.
