Using your video, I diagnosed that my dishwasher needed a new electronic control board and ordered a new control board from you. When I just took the door apart again, I had trouble removing one of the wire clips from the old board. I assume that it came out the way it did (see photos) because part of the board melted/fused with the wiring clip.

Questions:

  1. Is this the correct wiring harness (W10871222) for my model?
  2. Do you have a video demonstrating the replacement of the wiring harness or is it pretty simple? For context, I can re-wire a light fixture or receptacle pretty quickly, but I don’t mess with electric panels.
  3. Are there any other parts that I should examine for damage, given how crispy the control board got?

The wiring harness W10871222 is the correct harness. It is fairly simple to replace. An easy start is at the door, remove the original wires and install the new ones, working your way around the unit until each wire is replaced. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a video on this at the moment. As far as other parts go, it would be worth checking the heater and the thermostat to make sure they are not damaged.
