Kitchenaid Dishwasher has no panel lights and does not function

My Kitchen aid dishwasher model KUDM01TJ8269906C has no lights on control panel and the keys do not function. Unit worked OK the last time it was used and completed the entire cycle. I have replaced thermal fuse assembly, but later found that the original was OK. Checked door lock mechanism and power in and out is functioning. I think I’m down to either the control board or control panel. Not sure how to check these or how to test.

hello. did you find out what the problem was? I seem to be having the same problem…my unit stopped working…no lights nothing on control panel.

Ended up calling a repairman because no-one answered my post. It was the control board. Guy said by his experience, that’s usually the problem, not the button assembly.
