KitchenAid board burned up

I found this machine totally dead. As expected after reading a bit here, I found an open thermal fuse.

But I also found extensive arcing and burning on the bottom of the board near the power relays. There is literally a trench about an inch long burnt into the board material. Pretty spectacular and potentially dangerous failure…

I’m wondering, should I decide to replace the board and fuse, what’s the likelihood of the machine working? And how common is this? Have any design defects been corrected?

Thanks for any guidance.

Alan

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

You will have to do more troubleshooting.
Odds are that you will just blow another board.
You will have to trace what device the burned up track was powering and then check that device.
