Had some kitchen repairs (not related to the dishwasher) on Thursday. Workers had to disconnect the dishwasher and move it into another room while our kitchen was dismantled (long story, good thing for insurance).
Anyway, I went to reconnect it last night and found that there is a leak coming from the Air Intake on the left hand side. I can’t see if the plastic housing itself is cracked (which would make sense if it got whacked in all the commotion) or if the gasket is bad.
My question is relatively simple [stupid], how do you remove the air inlet? I tried twisting it around and spinning the Inlet Bezel from the inside, but no luck. I’d like to take the thing apart to get a better look at it.
They do say “Water inlet assembly - Corrected to stop moisture from escaping.” (Item 3 in Section 6 so I assume they have had problems in this area and this is an update. 15819990.pdf (483.5 KB)
I tried that earlier, I have the English and French Service sheets that this PDF came from still attached to the back of the kick plate. I will try it again though as it really does make sense.
It looks like there are instructions included with the part, but I don’t know if I need the part yet.
