KitchenAid 5 door fridge - freezer not working

Main Symptom: freezer not working
What happens & when: the freezer light won’t turn on when the door is open and it is not freezing

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: replaced the left door control panel

The buttons in the left drawer are not working and the freezer is not working. The fridge is fine. I tried unplugging the control panel in the left drawer and restarting the fridge but that didn’t help. I replaced the control panel in the door of the fridge and it seemed to be acting different, but no difference for the freezer or drawer.

Thinking maybe main control panel? Just wanted some opinions before ordering or getting a repair person.

When the left drawer control was removed, did the wires look like they may have corrosion or did the housing section have water in it? Also, does the freezer evaporator have a large amount of ice blocking it up or is there any frost on it at all? This can help identify what testing or checks might need to be done.
