My kitchen aid started just starting a drain cycle all by itself. It will run dry, no water to drain. (almost as if someone pressed the cancel button)
After pressing the panel canceling, I got a wash cylce to start, but after a very short fill cycle, it went into a drain “2” flashing cycle.
I tested continuity on the heat element, thermofuse, door switches, all good. I replaced the Electronic control assembly, the first test seemed good then 15 minutes later, the dreaded “2” and drain cycle started all by itself. Help !!
