Lately my microwave-convection double oven (actually the lower oven) turns itself on and then turns off after a few seconds. The power light comes on, then goes off. It doesn’t seem to heat up, but then it isn’t on long enough to really heat. I have turned it off at the circuit breaker unless I am going to use it. I am debating whether to have it repaired or just replace it since it is 22 years old. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You most likely have a failure in the clock / control.
Unfortunately, that part has been discontinued and is no longer available, by the manufacturer.
I guess you will have to consider a new combination wall oven.
