KitchenAid Diswasher starts as normal fills with heated water, but washarm doesn’t spin. Can hear motor making a humming type noise. I hit the cancel button and it will drain and can hear pump draining. All of the water drains. Is there a shaft from washarm to motor? If anybody had same problem,please contact. Thanks Al

Hi Al,

Looks like the problem is a stuck motor in the wash pump (drain pump is separate).

The first thing I would check is the chopper assembly (#6 on the break down diagram). If there is nothing wrong then the motor has to be replaced.
