Plunger goes down but will not come up unless the switch is turned again.
I called KA and they said it was the limit switch ( top right side ) which I purchased and replaced. Same problem exists after the new switch is installed. I’d appreciate your advice on what I can do next. Thanks…
Most likely the problem is a bad “Solid-Normal” option switch. If you need the correct part number then verify and repost the model number of the trash compactor. The model number you posted does not come up.

It is the options push-button switch on the control panel. Before proceeding with any repairs make sure you choose the “Normal-Unlocked” option. You can learn how to operate your trash compactor from the Owners manual.
