The code on the washer is FDL. I replaced the door latch. I cleaned out the trap and removed socks and a pencil. After doing this it still comes up with the same code. Sometimes it will start and most of the time it doesn"t. Also it is leaving water in the tub, and won’t start again. If you try to reset sometimes it will start again and other times it doesn’t. This is the second door switch assembly that I have put on it. The first one worked for about 4 months. Can you help me with this? Nozzel76

The FDL code indicates a problem with the “lock” portion of the latch assembly. Is the door locking, and staying locked ? The control usually checks the door locked switch circuit 6 times before the code is generated.
First, check and make sure the door is properly aligned to the opening and front panel, the door hook is not loose or out of alignment with the opening in the door switch assembly. Check the latch assembly for a tight mount to the front panel.
Then check the wiring at the new door latch assembly and the CCU for loose connections, and proper attachment to the terminlas and connectors on the CCU.
(it helps, if you don’t slam the door as well)
Hopefully, there was little to no damage to the drain pump impeller, but if you continue to have a drain problem, replace the pump.
