Hello.. I have A Kenmore Series 90 Heavy Duty washer that won’t agitate. I watch the timer move, but in the wash cycle it doesn’t work. It will work in the spin cycle, and it will drain the water… Just no agitation. Please help…
Does the motor run on agitation?

I can’t tell.. It is quiet. The timer runs, and I see it going through the cycles. It gets to spin and it drains the water and spins. It just won’t agitate. It is crazy. Thanks..
Remove the washer cabinet and check the wire harness to the motor and the motor itself. Inside the control panel you should find the tech sheet with the wiring diagram.

I checked the diagram and all wiring seems to match. I put it back together and then it still does the same thing. 
Do you think a switch somewhere may be bad??
this is the exact issue i am having with my machine kenmore 90 series 110.26901691…my coupling is fine and so are my dogs please tell me what u did to resolve this issue…and i noticed a small amount of oil under my machine if that helps any
You may want to remove and visually check the timer contacts. Oil under the washer could be a sign of a bad transmission.
