Kenmore washer overflows

Occassionally, the tank fills on its own and overflows into the floor. Someone suggested the inlet water valve, and I have read the threads about cutting the power and checking the water flow. This isolates the inlet valve or the fill shut off valve. My questions is, once I do that how do I open the Kenmore Front loading Washer to replace the water inlet valve or clean and / or replace the shut off tube or sensor? I haven’t been able to find these answers for front loaders and this model 110.42934200. Thanks.

It’s pretty easy to do, once you take off the top.

Thanks for the information. I hope to switch the value this weekend. I’ll let you know if that solves the problem. Thanks again.
