Motor windings decided to short (oh the ozone) and the compactor jammed mid-cycle. Ordered replacement motor which arrived in a matter of days (most impressive). Unfortunately. in process of figuring out how to get at the motor and unjam the system, I disconnected the front panel (which comes back to bite me).
Now… I took photos of wiring on the motor before disconnecting. I hooked the replacement up to match the photos. Didn’t think to take photos of the front panel connections as they looked simple. Instead, wife wrote down what I described which when read back now makes no sense.
Reassembled, the compactor works in one of two extremes: it will not run -or- it will not stop running.
I’ve played with the front panel wiring, but cannot get it right. Can I get a diagram that describes what color wires connect to which spade connector on the front panel for this model? I have the circuit diagrams, but that doesn’t help me too much.
Alternatively, if I post pics of the front panel wiring can someone tell me which wires go where?
One minor caveat: The wiring instructions with the replacement motor did not match the original install based on the photos. So I went with the photos.
Thanks!
