Kenmore ice dispenser door delay not working

Need Assembly instruction for Ice dispenser door closer delay plunger part. This part ensures that all ice is out of ice chute before dispenser door closes. Currently a few ice cubes are traped in the chute and melt leaving water to run out chute. I have the plunger part but do not know where it goes relative to the depenser door.

Jim, We could not find the exact model number you supplied in any of our parts ans service data. attached is a basic dispenser service procedure for the style refrigerator you have.
