I have a Kenmore HE2t front load washer and the unit is not spin or rotate the basket. The appliance is 2-3 years old and as of late the clothes come out of the washer smelling not so good. I suspect a problem with drainage for the stinky clolthes but am not sure where to start on the spin problem. I am an electronic technician but dont have any schematics to reference for troubleshooting,help!
my washer is doing something similar, will drain and fill but will not spin does a little jerky thing. I am getting a f-11 code
If you will look under the top (it removes from screws in the back) or inside the lower service panel you will find tech notes that will tell you how to interpret the error code, put it into diagnostic mode and test some components.
In these models the motor control board often fails and the door lock assembly gives a lot of problems, so focus in those areas.
