Frontloader. No display panel, just lights. Unless unplugged, all lights above the pause button flash continuously. Pattern is 9 flashes, pause, 9 flashes, pause, repeatedly. Meanwhile, nothing will work. For a few weeks I could resolve this by unplugging and plugging in again. It would then work as normal. Now, unplugging and plugging in has no effect. Lights just blink away. Where do I start?
Where you want to start is by taking off the lower service panel. Inside you will find taped to a side panel some tech notes. These will tell you how to interpret error codes and put the machine into a diagnostic mode.
If it will not go into a diagnostic mode then the problem could be the control unit. Try changing it out and if you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
