hello, Murray here, kenmore washer , aside from display lighting up it does nothing, i get 12o volts to control board, but nothing works no power to pump, pump good, level switch good . valves good ,tried doing diagnostic test , woudnt allow me to check out differrent componants, i replaced control board behind display panel, same thing, when this macine starts i assume it does a prepumpout, if it cannot do the pump out, will it do nothing? could it be damaged wire to pump? according to tech sheet if there is no power to pump the control board is at fault, thanks
I think it is likely the problem is in the door lock assembly, if it will not lock then that usually prevents the machine from doing anything. Try checking it using the tech notes.
Good luck.

strange but the tech notes dont even mention any thing about door lock. i will check it out ,thanks
I know they don’t, it’s like a problem Frigidaire will not acknowledge.
Let us know how things work out. If you need a service manual, see if you can tell me the U. S. equivalent of this model, since it looks like this is a Canadian model whose number will not come up in our data base.

ok, stay tuned, Murray
Hello, I have a similar problem on my Kenmore 417-48112701 front loader. I have lights flashing on the front. Tried to put it in diagnostic mode and tried to display the error code but the lights do not behave the way the instructions dictate. I was suspecting the control panel but I will wait to see what develops on this post. I will attempt to check the door switch but I have not figured out how to remove the covers. Bob

Here is a link to a service manual for your model. It will help you get into the machine and test various components.
Sid, Thanks for the reply but I did not see a link to the repair manual?
Ok lets try again

Thanks Sid. Will do some checking tonight. Bob
Sid, This manual is great. I could not get any help from Sears except to schedule a service call. The problem was that it was accidentally placed in LOCK mode. The two buttons used are together and someone must have leaned against them. Even pulling the plug did not reset LOCK mode. Thanks again. Damn these electronic controls.
Well that is interesting, can’t say I have ever come up against that, not sure I would have even thought of it.
Great that you got it going and thanks for the update, that’s very helpful!
Sid, This manual is very good and helped solve my problem. Apparently, all that was wrong was that the washer was accidentally put into lock mode. The two buttons that operate lock mode can be easily pressed if you lean against the machine. Thanks again! Bob

I can not get the washer to do anything except flash LOC then ERR on the display.
I do not have an owners manual and the ones on line do not have any tips on how to get the tech codes or these messages listed.
Any good advice?
Rick
Please start a new thread by making a new post and someone should be able to help. The more info you can provide the more likely we will get you the right answer.
If your model is a front loader you should find tech notes inside the lower service panel.
Thanks
