Kenmore French door refrigerator Model #795.7830 quit working. Repair man replaced the pc board Part# EBR41531305. Now the refrigerator works but it has no inside lights. It also has a error code er dh on the temperature controls. Some one said i needed to replace the heater element. Will a bad heater element cause the lights inside the refrigerator & freezer not to work?
Your model number is missing several digits.
Kenmore/Sears numbers are usually 3 numbers, a period and the 8 numbers.

Here is the solution to my problem. I undid the panel over the pc board & checked the connections. The connection for the lamps & defrost heater was loose. I plugged it in & screwed the panel back on. Plugged the refrigerator in & all is working now!! The repairman had told me that the reason my inside lights would not work was because a surge has blown all of my bulbs out. I called him 2 times and he would not come back to check the pc board. Needless to say I will never use him again!!
