Kenmore Elite Oasis HE top load washer: Has water in the top and bottom rings of the “wash basket” (part #85572767 - replacement part # W10296143 - $274.00) causing it to go out of balance showing “uL” error code even with no clothes. Can it be fixed? Is it a recall issue as with the control computer on this model which has been replaced? The shaft and bearing/seal kit have also been replaced. It is not a sensor or an issue with the suspension. THERE IS WATER IN THE “WASH BASKET” WHERE IT SHOULD NEVER BE. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this topic!
It suppose to be there. It’s made on purpose and the purpose is to better balance the basket.

Evidently I don’t know how to use this site or steps by steps thing. I am no pro in computer, but my case is that is a practically new washer machine. I only use it once a month. For the last 3 months I have to take the clothes completely damped out the machine, because this lousy noise and the machine is going to explote. This happend when is spinning. when is about 17 minutes remaining time to finish, then start this untakeble noise like it was going to explote and walk. As I cannot take it I turn it off. Besides it takes too long to do the cicles.
A technician came and said that theh problem is the water vaulve (celenoide) By that time we did not have water preassure at home. After that I tried two times, one with clothes and the other with no clothes at all. The two times did the same. Banging all over the place !!! I cannot trust this diagnostic. Besides here in this Country of Panama there is no place that repairs KENMORE and if it is electronic, even less. Please help. Thank you very much!

Is the noise you are talking about sounds like very high pitch grinding or it’s banging unbalanced tub?
Is there any codes displayed?
