Main Symptom: Stops during rinse cycle.
What happens & when: Washer stops halfway through rinse portion of cycle. Timer assembly and lid switch have been replaced. Washer is around 20 years old.

Check the inlet valves to make sure you have cold and hot water. If the cold water valve is bad, it will not put water in on the rinse cycle and it would stop.
