Kenmore Elite Electric Dryer DADT-ELE-2406024-EL54 not starting

Main Symptom: not starting
What happens & when: when i press power, the control panel lights up. When i press Start, nothing happens. Everything looks normal. Never noticed before but there is a solid dot lit next to the moisture sensor/extra time text on the top right of the display (not sure if it always appears, never noticed before).

I checked filter and vent hose and no blockages visible. I was going to try to replace the thermal fuse and the dryer cycling thermostat but wanted to ask here if anyway to check as these are not easy to remove on front under drum.

I can spin the drum but it’s a little resistant. The light in the drum is on, no clicking or sounds after I push the door shut and press Start button.

Drum does not spin when ( select any programmed mode of drying nor when I try timed drying.

I don’t see any error code appear on the control panel.

The model number that is listed is not showing as a good model and for us to be able to assist we would need the correct model number.

Since the control lights up, the first thing to check would be to make sure that door switch is good, and check the belt to make sure that it is not broken. Also, check the belt switch to make sure that it has continuity.
