Kenmore elite balance issue

I have a kenmore elite oasis HE top-loader, about 7-8 years old. Works fine except for an issue with going unbalanced easily.

reading other threads, is this something where a good starting point would be replacing the snubber ring and springs as recommended for other makes/models?

Going out of balance easily is usually caused by the suspension rods getting crapped up with grease, etc. You need a washer suspension rod kit (8564009) . Replace all parts. Takes about 45 min +/-
