Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 790.96112408 Main Symptom: Oven is not getting any voltage What happens & when: Oven doesn’t work
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Is there a fuse anywhere on this unit. I have replaced a faulty baked element. The broiler elemet test okay. The temperature sensor test okay. I’m getting 240 volts to the stove and the stove top eyes and everything else works fine. I haven’t been able to find any kind of fuse so I’m thinking it may be the control board. I replaced this three years ago so if it is the board, I’m not repacing it again.

If there is no power getting to the bake or broil element then check to make sure that there is no damaged wiring. Also, check at the main clock to make sure that there is power coming from the board. If there is no power coming from the board then you would need to replace the control board.
The control board is fine as far as the clock and all of the burners. If there is something in the board that controls the oven seprately then they may have gone bad like a relay or something. All of the wiring is fine. I see on all of the repair videos that they show a thermal fuse but I haven’t found one on this unit.
