My dryer will not produce heat. The voltage at the plug is 240VAC. I have checked for continuity of the heating element, the thermal cutoff, and the thermal fuse. All are closed. There is no voltage at the heating element leads. I have pulled the thermistor and found that it is open at room temperature and when I heat it up with a hair dryer. I tried shorting out the thermistor leads, but the element still does not heat up. Went to Sears and checked out the continuity of a new thermistor and it also was open at room temp. Any ideas of what I’m missing?

Sorry, the model number is 11063932101. I replaced the thermostat and all is well. The old one had continuity, but after shorting the wires out, the elements came on, so I knew I had it. Thanks for offering to help.
You are welcome. I’m glad to hear you were able to fix it.
