This is the explanation I’m getting from my daughter…
Put clothes into gas dryer…left it running and returned 4 hrs. later and it was still running and the clothes were dry but not hot any longer.
Put another batch in this morning and it ran but did not dry the clothes after a few hrs…they were still cold and wet ???
What could it be?
I have repaired dryers before using the repair manual provided by Sears "Do-It-Yourself.

I would check the thermal fuse and ignitor.

Replaced the fuse…it’s now working like a charm.

If you have not done so already make sure you check the dryer vent for lint build up. It may need cleaning and could be why the thermal fuse was bad.
