That could be a stuck key, the dishwasher is flashing the Cancel/Drain because it can’t tell if there is a cycle being cancelled or what is going on with the unit. You can take that user interface panel apart and check if any of the keys seem to be stuck. If those are good you are probably looking at replacing the user interface WPW10333393.
You can also try testing this by disconnecting the dishwasher from power, unplugging the user interface from the main control, putting the door back together enough that it can be closed, repowering the unit, wait about 10 seconds after power has been reapplied and close the door. If the drain pump kicks on shortly after the door has been closed with the user interface disconnected then you have a stuck key/user interface issue.
