Davidlee103159, does the refrigerator sound like the fresh food fan operates continuously or does it stop as if the system thinks it has reached temperature?

I hear a fan running when I close the door. I do feel cold air coming out of the side vent by the left door. I do hear a light, non-continuous popping sound in the back on the left side top, looking at the fridge. Is there an evaporation fan in the refrigerator, as I can take a look behind the panel

The vents that lead to the door are going to be coming from the freezer section. There is a fan and an evaporator in the fresh food section behind the back panel that can be inspected for operation and to identify if there is excessive frost build up. With the panel removed, does it look like there is a lot of frost build up on the evaporator?

I took a look, and no frost built up on the condenser. put my phone on video and filmed inside operation with the fan exposed and the door closed for 40 seconds, no fan movement. It seems to be getting colder each day down to 47 today but the system seems to be running continually.

One last thing: the fan spins freely with my finger. Not sure what the symptom is when these fans go bad.

With the doors open, refrigerator magnets (or a similar weak magnet can be used) can be placed on the door sensing switches located on the hinge covers close to the inner corners. The fan harness can then be tested for DC voltage to identify if the fan is receiving operational voltage or not. Using the wire coloration from the cabin side of the harness, test from the black wire to the yellow wire with black stripe for DC volts. There should be a voltage reading between 11.4-12.6 Volts DC. If this voltage is present but the fan does not rotate, the fan has a failure in the motor. Here is a link to the fan motor information page just in case.
