My kenmore dryer is heating but taking twice as long to dry clothes as it did a few months ago.
I cleaned all filters and vents. I removed the front panel and observed the heating coil working.

Run a very simple test to determine if it’s dryer or the venting problem.
Remove the vent hose from the dryer and run the dryer for one load of the regular laundry. If dries good the problem is not within the dryer.
