We found the owner/builder used non-code wiring in many places. The stove was not working well, and we found a 50 amp breaker with 8/2 AWG w/ground (no neutral).
We need to know what wire to use and what plug/socket to replace on the stove.
We bought a house with an S156 range.

The run from the box is about 45 feet.
We disconnected it, so we have no cooking.
Thanks.
KM,
We no longer have or supply that type of information,
There are too many separate, individual, city county, state, wiring and building codes
But,
Based on your description, the only things I would change :
Replace the wiring with 8/3 awg or 8/4awg(L1,L2, N,and grnd wires)
(you’d need to remove the grounding strap from the range terminal block)
Then order the corresponding 50 amp outlet and 50 amp range cord.
You should contact a local electrician, and have him give you the building specs / codes, to be safe.
