My 2008ish Jenn Air is on the fritz for the oven. Stove top still works due to manual knobs, but I had began to have issues with the oven shutting down sporadically on its own over recent months. Last week now the buttons on the left side have become unresponsive for the oven. Can just control board replacement fix this, or does it require an entire panel replacement which has been discontinued from production it seems? Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately, the control panel would be the most likely cause of failure. Since the buttons share similar connection points to the main control as buttons on the right, the main control is able to identify when voltage passes through those connection points. Here is a resistance chart for the console for testing purposes. 2,000 Ohms is the maximum amount of resistance any test set should measure.
Would you believe I would need WPW10206078 to solve the issue, or just WP8507P233-60 possibly. WPW10206078 does not seem to be available but WP8507P233-60 I can find and hoping that is all I may need. Appreciate you responding.
That’s what I was afraid of since WPW10206078 lines up with my model and isn’t produced. Was hoping to avoid buying a whole new stove and replacing it. Accidentally bought WPW10206087 after switching my numbers. Didn’t try it as I figured it wouldn’t work.
