Cook top and grill work. Oven will heat to 300 but no further.
I assume the element works since it heats at all, is there a thermostat or some other sensor that decides when to regulate current to element? Is there a control board that serves this purpose?

On many units they switch back and forth between the bake and the broil elements so maybe one element is no good.

Yes there is an oven sensor. It is a tube that extends into the oven top/back.
It shuld measure about 1100 ohms at room temperature.
