Someone in the past bypassed the hi limit switch, so i ohm’d out the switch and found that it was stuck open. I replaced the switch and wired it back the right way. Now we are getting a code F3 which im told means hi limit switch. What could be throwing off the hi limit?

I could not find any tech info on this but when I look up a listing Jenn-Air F3 comes up as an oven sensor problem. This may not be correct as it was just a general F listing for Jenn-Air.
