I have had to change the front right custom control element twice on this unit. The elements test OK it the temp probe/thermocouple that fails. The part only comes as a complete unit with the element.
Is it possible to find a similar thermocouple that I can adapt to the element?
Has anyone tried this?

Check if you can find any part number on this probe itself.

Unfortunately there is no # on the probe. I haggled with the people at Whirlpool and the manufacturers of the element, to get more info on the probe/thermocouple/RTD, with no results. Whirlpool says they don’t have specs on it, and Ceramaspeed refers me to the manufacturer of the range.:mad:
