The oven works, per se. But, the temp swings between the elements turning off and on are about 56degF on Bake Convection using a household digital oven thermometer. Is this kind of range normal?
This oven has a sophisticated (for its day) electronic control panel and I wonder if the range can be controlled/adjusted by that electronic board.
My daughter graduated a baking /pastry program and she has been having problems with temperature inconsistencies. I guess a tri-tip is very forgiving of a wide temp range but cookies and stuff, are not.
Can the control board tighten up that range? I know that has calibrations for the thermostat so I thought that maybe it could do that, too.
Two questions regarding normal brands of residential wall ovens (not incl Viking, Wolf, etc):
Are there any brands of normal residential wall ovens that have the capacity to adjust that OR actually state that info as part of their specifications??
Is a +/- 30degF cooking cycle variation normal/typical?
