Jenn-Air gas valve not working (Wall oven)

I have a Jenn-Air wall oven, when you turn the thermostat on the igniter glows but doesn’t open the gas valve. I recently replaced the gas valve but it still did the same thing. It looks like a simple circuit that goes from the thermostat, to the igniter, and to the gas valve. There is gas and voltage to the valve. Could I have gotten a bad replacement valve or could it be something else?

Most likely the problem is a bad (weak) igniter. It can be bad even if it does glow. You can measure the current drawn by the igniter and if it’s 3.2 amps or less then the igniter is the culprit.
