Jenn-Air F9 Error Code

Hello all,

I have an older Jenn-Air JGR8850ADB gas range that has just started throwing the F9 error code. Per the Appliance Fault Code page, F9 is for the Door latch. What is the part number for this, and is there a way I can check if the part is needed at all?

The part # is 74003559. The latch most likely is not the problem, but there are some switches on the latch that could be the problem. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
