My dishwasher is making a loud grinding (metal) sound when it starts washing. Sounds like something in the disposal part. (maybe?) I cannot find any information on checking for debris stuck in it. Do I need a repair person?

The model number is JOB 4000 AWB.
Sorry for the delay. Remove the lower spray arm, the filter plate (#4 on the diagram) and the discharge housing (#5). Check the wash impeller. If there is nothing wrong then remove the impeller and the accumulator (#7) and check the chopper and its shaft.

I’m looking for the handle part of the Latch Assembly which you have a diagram of here: Whirlpool W10130695 Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly - AppliancePartsPros.com
My door latch is fine, it’s just that the tabs of the handle have broken off, and now I can no longer latch/unlatch my dishwasher door.
I know that the handle comes as part of the assembly, but I’d rather not spend $25 on the entire assembly, when all I need is the handle itself.
If you could tell me the part number and the cost for the handle alone, I would appreciate it.
