Is it time for a new machine?

Please make sure to click on General above and select the correct appliance type first.

Brand: Maytag 9000
Model Number: MHWE950WW02
Main Symptom: Machine not completing cycle properly, soap and wet clothes
What happens & when:

Error Code (if any): F99
Parts or tests already tried: I replaced the CCU board , today replaced the UI & still getting F99 I also replaced the water intake valve.. I think it’s just time to get a new machine. I’m in $500.00 especially after reading everyone’s issue with F99.

With the new controls installed, are you able to enter diagnostic mode? This model typically runs a boot phase that acts like a control sync between the CCU and the UI. Since the CCU was replaced before the UI, it’s possible the two may be out of sync. Running a proper diagnostic cycle may help reestablish communication between the boards.

In the tech sheet it is basically saying there is a problem between one board or the other or a wiring problem.Very limited instructions how to determined which one. This is almost like the game. know when to fold.Looks like an older machine. Not worth anymore money! Or the 5 hundred that you put in it!
