Internal cooling fan will not shut off

I placed a bowl of stew into the microwave for 2 mins. When it stopped I opened the door and found that the internal cooling fan was still on. I closed the door waited awhile and reopened it. It was still on. Pulled the plug waited and tried again. The internal fan will not shut off. Can someone give me some advice??

Most likely a stuck relay on the control board. Sometimes you can gently tap them and they will start working again. Other times they just need replaced. The relays are the small back boxes on this board.
