Interior Microwave paint chip off

The interior cavity paint is chipping off. How safe is it to spray paint the interior and continue using the microwave?

If your going to do that, you need to use a microwave cavity paint to fix it. Get some scotchbrite and sand the area, and touch up the area with the paint, just make sure it dries completely before running the oven, as it could catch fire. Unlikely, but could happen.
