Main Symptom: Digitron board will not energize
What happens & when:Old board everything worked on the microwave except you couldn’t read display ( jargon) New board would not lite up or start microwave. Put old board in and microwave worked except display

It does not appear that the new board has to be programmed. i would lean towards the board being defective, especially when the old board works, except for the display.
