Im trying to remove the inner tub in my washing machine. I took out the spanner nut with a spanner wrench but, now the tub will not slide out . I thing its stuck. I video on how to remove the inner tub says it should slide out.
Does a tool called a three jaw puller have to be used to remove or spray wd40 on it. thank you

Barbara,
No, you should not need a gear puller.
On older machines, the spin tub has a tendency to “stick” to the “spin block”.
In many cases, a hard rapid push down in one area of the tub can break it loose, and it can be removed. I’ve never had to use a lubricant or gear puller, but it might work, should you decide to use either one.
