Regarding Kenmore Side-by-Side Refrigerator (Model: 106.51764510)
Ice maker is making ice but not dispensing. When activating ice dispenser, the flap is opening and closing. Water is dispensing and water filter is newly installed.I had to replace auger motor a few years ago. I thought this problem reoccurred. I bought a new auger motor but this one also doesn’t activate the auger. I would appreciate guidance on further steps to take rectify this problem. As always, I appreciate the help – both now and in the past.

I found a broken wire in the harness below the freezer door. The harness insulation was split and worn showing all bundled wires. The top wire which actuated the auger motor was broken. I soldered one small piece of wire to each end. The auger motor now works. -John Zannini
