Ice/Water Dispenser

Dispenser doesn’t dispense water or ice. Lights work in the dispenser. Ice maker is making plenty of ice. The freezer door switch seems to work. It controls the freezer compartment light. I replaced the dispenser board to no avail. What’s left?:frowning:

I have a similar problem with gsantini.

GE refrigerator model GSL25JFRF BS; about 3 years old.

Here is my problem

Problem:
not dispense water, not dispense ice.

Working:

  1. Freezer switch, 5 button lights work in the dispenser, ice maker make plenty of ice. Dispense water intermittently, i.e. dispense water then stop then dispense water after about 3 hours later.
  2. Good water pressure
  3. Water filter changed 5 months ago.
  4. All water tubes are good.
  5. Refrigerator and freezer compartment temperature are good.

Not working:

  1. making plenty of ice but cannot dispense ice. Auger arm does not turn.
  2. dispense water then stop dispense water. Have to wait for another 3 hours before dispense water again.
  3. Fan in Freezer compartment does not seems running continuously, i.e. run for about 7 seconds then stop for 3 seconds then run again for 7 sec then stop again for 3 sec. Cycles keep repeating.

Any help or suggestion.
